Floral Workshop with The Flower Fairies and Anna Brown Flowers

At the end of August I was lucky enough to be asked by Charlie from The Flower Fairies to help with the tablecsape for an incredible workshop in the setting of Anna Brown Flowers  stunning flower field in a nearby village in Oxfordshire. The day started with a demonstration by Charlie and learning all about flower farming from Anna. Every guest was given the most stunning bucket of flowers picked from Anna's field and we each put together a beautiful floral table decoration.

We then set the table using a selection of So Souk tableware - our Pink Rosalie handblocked frilled tablecloth and napkins made the perfect backdrop for the prettiest selection of pink Dahlias, cosmos, raspberry leaves, Phlox, Didiscus and Gomfrena. We added some touches of red too with some lovely taper candles and hand painted placecards from Illy Boo Designs - these were decorated with tiny raspberries and leaves to match the Italian plates. We then sat down to enjoy the most perfect English afternoon tea - scones, cakes, sandwiches and a glass of bubbly to celebrate all our efforts. A truly special day in the most remarkable setting of Anna's field - the most wonderful end to the Summer.
